EUGENOL

Contraindications

• Resin Interference: Contraindicated as a base under resin-containing adhesives or restorative cements, as it may interfere with the hardening process or cause softening of resin components.

OTHER SPECIFICATION

• Setting Time: The setting time of the paste varies depending on the mixing ratio, temperature, and humidity. Higher temperatures and more humid conditions may decrease the setting time.

Storage

• Temperature: Store at room temperature, between 5°C to 30°C.
• Conditions: Keep in a cool, dry place. Avoid freezing and direct sunlight.

DIRECTION OF USE

1. Preparation: Use a clean, dry cement spatula and a glass slab for mixing.
2. Dispense Eugenol: Place a few drops of SDS ENDO Eugenol onto the glass slab.
3. Add Zinc Oxide Powder: Dispense a small amount of zinc oxide powder onto the slab, separate from the eugenol.
4. Mixing: Drag a small amount of zinc oxide powder into the eugenol using the spatula in a swirling motion. Continue until a smooth paste consistency is achieved.
5. Adjust Consistency: Add more zinc oxide powder if a thicker paste is needed. Adjust based on the desired working consistency, particularly for use as a base.
