SDS Endo ProTaper Paper Points are expertly designed to complement ProTaper file systems, ensuring precision and consistency in endodontic procedures. These points are specifically crafted for use after root canals have been shaped and finished with ProTaper files.
Key Features:
- Uniformity: Hand-rolled to ensure consistent size and shape for reliable performance.
- Sterilization: Gamma-ray sterilized to maintain aseptic conditions and prevent contamination.
- Color-Coded: Available in sizes F1, F2, and F3, color-coded for easy identification and selection.
- Extended Shelf Life: Designed for long-term usability, supporting ongoing practice efficiency and accuracy.
Directions for Use:
- Select the Correct Size: Choose the ProTaper Paper Point size (F1, F2, or F3) that corresponds with the ProTaper file used during root canal shaping.
- Prepare the Canal: After cleaning and shaping the root canal, ensure the canal is thoroughly dried using paper points or other absorbent materials.
- Insertion: Insert the selected ProTaper Paper Point into the root canal until it reaches the desired depth. Apply gentle pressure to ensure proper placement without excessive force.
- Absorption: Allow the paper point to absorb any remaining moisture or debris within the canal. Leave it in place for a few seconds to facilitate effective absorption.
- Removal: Carefully remove the paper point from the canal, ensuring it does not carry any debris out of the canal.
- Evaluation: Inspect the paper point for any signs of blood, pus, or other fluids. This can indicate residual infection or inflammation in the canal.
- Obturation: Once the canal is confirmed to be dry and clean, proceed with obturation using gutta-percha or other filling materials to seal the canal.
SDS Endo ProTaper Paper Points are an essential tool for achieving optimal results in root canal treatments, ensuring precise moisture control and aiding in successful canal sealing.
